I have a ps5 console, 2 ps5 controllers and 2 PCs. I ownloaded Epic Games and bought 2 PC copies so my fiancée and I could play on our own screens. Now I'm regretting my $120 purchase that cant use the controllers like all Steam games can. Any help would be appreciated. UPDATE: Solved! You guys rock.

I am using a PS5 controller on my PC via Bluetooth. It has worked on games like Prodeus and Somerville. I went to play High on Life and The Ascent, and neither are picking up my controller. I checked that in control panel - printers and devices - my controller didn't display properly (had no options to edit settings) 1. Updated the controller drivers and updated windows. 2. Checked this video to start FIFA 23 through steam. 3. Had to follow up to step 7. Hope it helps someone.

I tried the reset (insert pin on the little hole for 6 seconds). It only works while you are in the game and worked for me only for that session. Will call Sony for support, at least you can continue this to play assuming you have the same issue as my controller.

I case some games don't work, use a program called DS4Windows. It changes the input of Sony controllers to xinput, making the games think it's a Xbox controller - which has much more support.
